Dr Peter Pugh

About

Following undergraduate training at Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School, London, Dr Pugh trained in cardiology at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. He undertook research into heart failure at the University of Sheffield, and a Cardiovascular Fellowship at the University of Cape Town. He was awarded a Travelling Fellowship by the European Heart Rhythm Association, to study complex pacing. His main areas of expertise are in biventricular pacing and device therapy for heart failure and arrhythmia, in which he has extensive experience. He was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in 2008, specifically to take forward the pacemaker and devices service.
