Invasive Cardiology Services

The Cambridge Heart Clinic has one fully digital, state-of-the-art cardiac catheterisation laboratory capable of performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Initially, this will allow the following procedures to be carried out:

Coronary Angiography (Cardiac Catheterisation)
Cardiac Pacing - single, dual chamber and biventricular pacing (resynchronization therapy)
Cardiac Defibrillator insertions
DC cardioversion
Electrophysiology and Ablation

And, over time there is planned expansion into the following areas:

Second Cardiac Cath Lab
Angioplasty and Coronary Stenting
