Medical Advisory Committee (MAC)

The MAC offers guidance and advice on all areas of clinical practice. The committee's membership includes all Consultants with admitting rights to the Cambridge Heart Clinic.

In order to ensure the highest standards of care and patient safety, Consultants wishing to practice at the Cambridge Heart Clinic must apply for practice privileges and prove that they satisfy a comprehensive set of criteria. Each application must be approved by the Medical Advisory Committee.

The Chairman of the MAC reports into the Clinical Director of the Cambridge Heart Clinic. The Clinical Director of the Cambridge Heart Clinic is Dr. Michael O'Sullivan.
